The idea behind this project is to showcase our tallents and design something we have never designed before, the design and domain name can be purchaced from us.

At a later date to we indend to fully, intergrate the design in to a letting agent property script and add a fully functioning CMS, but at the minuite we are bulking our design portfolio not our all round service.

We have had a wide success with requests for designs and concepts for portfolioed works, and we are starting to build a champion portfolio.

After deciding our portfolio lacked flair we have launched our first portfolio project and our first site available to let via the soon to be launched leasing the web, the site was designed for a fake driving school based in Canterbury a domain was registered and a design created.

The site has a powerful CMS backend, contact forms and is fully updateable with a new owners details, although not our most creative design it does pose useful to point out that we can target a wide range of companies and their areas of operation.

We have now not only settled on the name of our forthcoming website rental site and have  begun the branding for it as you can see the new logo says it all perfectly and is looking good.

We hope to have the time to begin leasingtheweb.com as a project this week and hope to at least have wire framing done, we are excisted about this new venture and hope that it will be successfull.

we will be launching with some amazing offers, including free setup on some of the larger sites, we are currently scowering the internet looking to see what compitietion we have in this area, and to come up with industry beating price plans, and something we think is fairly new to the industry, bespoke design on website rentals.

For those on tighter budgets before 2010 ends we hope to introduce some basic templates (5-10 Pages) with a custom header graphic and logo intergration at a non-bespoke price.

We will be developing a driving school website, the site will be developed and published and will feature in our portfolio but it will also be available to rent for any local driving school to take advantage of the design, desirable domain name and eventual SERPS results.

Why a driving school not something we’ve worked on before and we felt we could showcase our talents, this way.

As we are the clients we expect this domain to be live within 7 days, so watch this space as we burn the midnight oil.

Other portfolio projects to follow, which will allow us to showcase our designing flair and some of the script technology we can use.

Suggestions are welcome and you may even be able to rent it afterwards.

We are going to begin leasing websites as a sub-business of Kentish designs these will be ready made high SERPS sites ready to lease for a monthly fee.

We will also try bespoke designed sites with small setup fees and monthly site, domain and hosting leasing.

we will also be offering non bespoke website leasing, the main idea behind the highly unusual non bespoke solutions is the economic climate we have had four enquires this month for interesting projects but the companies involved didn’t have the funding available for custom designs.

We will be keeping all no bespoke solutions off kentishdesigns.com this will and all ways will be a bespoke solutions company.

We are currently undertaking a complete rebrand of the Luxuriousbathroom.co.uk domain, giving it a modern unique look and new logo to go with the new site design.

We will be creating a new eye-catching brand able logo, a new website design and adding a fully functioning CMS to the site.

Our Web Design Portfolio We are working on it

We have noticed that our web design portfolio is starting to look dated, and the truth is because it is dated we stopped working on portfolio works during 2006 and a lot of our work has been as freelancers and technical advisors since, well with 2010 this has all changed, but our portfolio is looking tired.

So this morning we deleted all but two examples of our portfolio, one web design and one ecommerce, we will be adding new projects as they come up to the portfolio and it will expand to include Logo Design, Stationary Design, Web Design and Ecommerce Web Design.

We wanted you to know we can do much better designs and are not stuck in the past, so we thought we would blog about, it let you know and tell you things are changing in the portfolio stakes.

Web Design Portfolio – Kentish Designs

It was an eventful couple of days and one that has hit our Search Engine Rankings quite hard, with the loss of pages, and changing of page names, where appropriate, with some luck though we won’t have to do this again, and we will be climbing up the rankings in no time at all.

We are still working on integrating the billing system and the blog to the site design, but as we slowly work on it you should see a more rounded well designed site, appearing before your eyes.

We are still making some visual changes including to the contact forms, we just really don’t like them, we will work on them when we get time we promise, they work but just aren’t very stylish, the Thank you page and some of the header images need adjustment.

But all in all a very successful weekends work.
